A growing number of retailers, including Walmart.com, Amazon, DoorDash, and Uber Eats, also accept SNAP EBT for online grocery orders in many areas, though delivery and service fees usually can't be paid with benefits.
SNAP benefits cover food and food-producing seeds or plants, but not hot prepared foods, alcohol, tobacco, or non-food items — some states also restrict specific items like soda or candy, noted below if it applies to Oklahoma.
Oklahoma SNAP Income Limits
The federal SNAP gross income limit is 130% of the Federal Poverty Level, and Oklahoma keeps its Broad-Based Categorical Eligibility (BBCE) policy at that same standard federal threshold rather than raising it, unlike many other states that push the limit up to 185% or 200%.
Oklahoma's BBCE policy still generally removes the separate asset test for most applicants, so a household's savings or vehicle value typically won't disqualify them, even though the income limit itself matches the federal baseline.

EBT Fraud & Card Skimming Protection
Protect your benefits from theft
Oklahoma Human Services offered federally funded replacement for SNAP benefits stolen through skimming or cloning only through the federal program's expiration in December 2024. No evidence of a continuing state-funded replacement program was found after that date.
If your card is compromised, report it through Oklahoma's EBT Self-Service tools to cancel the card, request a replacement, and change your PIN — this stops further loss even though reimbursement isn't currently guaranteed.

Using Your Oklahoma EBT Card Out of State or Online
Traveling or shopping online?
Oklahoma has not defaulted EBT cards to automatically block out-of-state transactions. Through the EBT Self-Service portal, cardholders can voluntarily turn on a "Lock Out-of-State" option themselves to block only out-of-state purchases as an extra security step, and remove it whenever they need to use the card away from home.
