Food Stamps Income Guidelines
When applying for food stamps in your state, part of qualifying for SNAP benefits is based off your household income. A household is required to meet certain income tests/criteria unless if all members are receiving TANF, SSI or in some states, general assistance. In most cases, households must meet both gross and net income tests, however if a household has an elderly person or a person who is receiving certain types of disability, they just have to meet the net income test. Households, unless otherwise noted, that have income over the amount set in your state are not eligible to receive SNAP benefits.
